Oak Island Wing Wars

If you’ve been to enough restaurants in our quaint little town, you start to notice something about the chicken wings on the menu. They all seem to claim that they’re “famous” or “award winning.” That got me thinking: Who’s handing out these awards? Famous to whom? Who voted? There didn’t seem to be any proof or explanation. So, I figured I’d launch a little poll so that everyone can decide, once and for all, who is the king of the wing on Oak Island.

So, stick some wet naps in your pocket, pick a place and go eat some wings! When you’re done come on back to Wing Wars and cast your vote.

The current voting is live for the 2026 season. I have not decided when this ends so, ya know, just check the website every day. It’ll be a new little morning routine. Next thing you know you’ll be wanting wings for breakfast. No judgement here.

RULES

The rules are simple, the restaurant must be on the South side of the bridges and serve chicken wings. That’s it.
